As the structural reform of JSC “Russian Railways” contemplates demonopolizing of non-core services, on January 30, 2006, 22 of its affiliated survey and design institutes were separated from JSC “Russian Railways” and made up in a new open joint stock company, JSC “Roszheldorproject”. The Company was established to unite all affiliates of JSC “Russian Railways” engaged in survey and design works in a single legal entity to serve construction and reconstruction needs in railway sphere.
The design institutes of JSC “Roszheldorproject” are located throughout the Russian Federation and support implementation of comprehensive survey and design works for the JSC “Russian Railways” and other customers. The Company's affiliates are proud of their long history of survey and design works for railway sphere both of the USSR and the RF. Some of them, such as Transelectroproject, Giprotranssygnalsvyaz and Giprotransput which are the leading institutes in their field have been found more than 70 years ago.
Today JSC “Roszheldorproject” is a multipurpose organization providing a wide range of survey and design works of various uses. |
